Short gun course - Basic
What theoretical and practical seminar content is taught?
- Putting on and adjusting the equipment (weapon holster, magazine pouch, ...)
- Safe loading and unloading of the firearm and safety check
- Basic posture & stance
- Trigger/sighting technique
- Breathing technique
- Troubleshooting
- Reloading
- Weapon/ammunition tuning & recommendations
- Drawing from the holster
- Movement, change of position
- Shooting at a stationary target
- Transfer of experience from professionals
- Weapon technology, care & care recommendation
How long does the course last and what is the maximum number of participants allowed?
The course lasts one day (9:00 am to 4:00 pm). The number of participants is limited to 12 persons/PS Academy day.
What do I need to consider?
For the course at least
- 300 rounds of standard factory ammunition in 9 mm x 19 calibre
are required.
The purchase of ammunition is possible at the venue. Please indicate this on the registration form. Reloaded ammunition is not permitted..
The following equipment is also required:
- three magazines
- Short gun holster
- Loading aid
Participants who do not have magazines, short gun holsters or loading aids will receive them on site for the duration of the course.
Each participant must personally provide suitable eye and ear protection as well as fastening options for holsters and magazine pouches in the form of a belt must be provided by each participant personally.
- The wearing of paramilitary clothing is not permitted, see also the sporting regulations of the German Shooting Federation.
- The sporting regulations of the German Shooting Federation apply as a further and valid guideline for all Academy events.
I do not have a short gun. Can I still take part in the course?
- Yes, this is possible. Participants who do not own a short gun will be provided with a gun on site for the duration of the course.
How much is the participation fee per person?
- 320,- Euro participation fee excluding ammunition.
Each participant also receives drinks and lunch.
